I'm not satisfied with their security measures with sensitive data
They are in charge of safekeeping of critical records, and yet their "order tracking" maintains no record of when the transcript was retrieved by the target school? Shouldn't they be recording login information, date/time, IP address of who accessed my private data?
I guess not, silly me.
Of course, the school says they never got it. What's the remedy? Spend another $15.65 to do the exact same thing I did a month ago and expect a better result this time. I'd have better luck giving some stranger on the street a letter and $15 and asking him to make sure it got mailed for me.
Really, maybe I'll try that next because it's more likely to work.
Do these universities know what sloppy recordkeeping they're allowing by these companies to whom they're outsourcing?
I guess they don't care, not their liability. What a ripoff.

I’m having trouble finding my college transcript

Transcription service is horrible !
National Student Clearinghouse is an absolute joke ! I ordered a copy of my transcript which they promised to get to me in 3 - 5 business days.
I urgently needed it for a possible job offer. After over a month, I still didn't receive my transcript and lost out on a new job.
When I asked them to cancel and refund my transcript order, they claimed they couldn't do it. I had to contact my university registrar office who were non-responsive.
They continued to process and charge me for my transcript order ($13.50). While it is not a big amount, their incompetency and unprofessionalism is what irks me the most.
